Ciate Paint Pot in Sugar Plum

A creamy, lavender manicure

This week I've been wearing this lovely lilac shade from Ciate.

I like wearing this colour because it looks quite fresh and polished; it almost brings the subtlety of a nude shade but has a welcome pop of colour.

One thing I would note about this varnish is that it is quite thin in consistency. This means that you’re free from any unsightly clumps which is a huge advantage, but it also means that you need a good 3 coats to get that bottle colour.

Wondering what to pair it with? I’ve chosen my favourite lilac beauty pieces to go with it…

The first is one of my all-time favourite fragrances, Lolita Lempicka (by Lolita Lempicka). With a base note of vanilla and middle notes of liquorice and violet, it is a very sweet and musky fragrance.

Next would be this scented face powder from Paul & Joe’s Christmas ’12 collection. Use this to set your make-up or touch up throughout the day. Make sure you check out the rest of their collection while you’re there…
