The best bronzer since Hoola

Curious to explore more of the range from the lady that has transformed my skin, I have delved into Liz Earle's cosmetics and am delighted with them.

My regular readers will know that Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish is a staple in my skincare routine (and, in fact, a favourite with my whole family). Now, with the launch of her cosmetic line I have found the perfect bronzer.

Bronzing powder is something that I am particular about as I have very pale skin, but Liz Earle’s Natural Glow Bronzer is fine for me to use for adding warmth. Powders with more of an orange undertone never suit me because they look unnatural; this, however, is very brown in colour and so is great for giving a slight sun-kissed look.

A cult product in terms of bronzing has to be Benefit’s Hoola powder. It is one of my favourites and a staple to many a girl’s regime. This bronzer, I would say, is the nicest one I’ve used since Hoola. It has the same rich undertones but also contains a slight hint of shimmer. With this in mind, it is great not only for the face but also to accentuate collarbones.

With bases covered, my next items of choice were from Liz Earle’s lip range.

Her lipsticks are really lovely. This weather can wreak havoc with our lips but the creamy, moist formula meant that my lips felt moisturised as well as covered. If you like a satin finish then you’ll love her lipsticks. For those girls that prefer a glossy finish, her Sheer Lip Gloss wands are great. With no overt scent, these glosses are very natural, giving a sheer and fresh look to the lips.

To bring the best of summer beauty through to autumn, it’s all about Liz Earle…
