Illamasqua Loella

Always a fan of an iridescent beauty product, I tried Illamasqua’s Loella this week – a baby pink shade with a glow of fuschia pink.

The colour is lovely when applied. After 2 coats you’ll have a full coverage, and the pink is bright enough to make you feel pampered but subtle enough if you have to tone it down for work. I must admit I didn’t quite notice the iridescent sheen as much as I would have liked to but it shows up well in brighter lights. The finish is brilliant; you won’t notice a chip in sight for days on end.

Illamasqua’s brushes are very long and thin. This means that they’re great for getting into every nook and cranny and even better if you want to create a crisp nail outline but not go right to the edges (my tactic).
