A skincare regime that leaves you bright and fresh

I've tried so many bits and pieces from L'Occitane but have always mixed and matched between their ranges. After starting to notice a difference from using their Immortele Precious Cream, I decided to try a few more pieces from the range and see how it worked together.

Eye Make-up Remover Gel

There’s no point being meticulous with your skincare if you’re not removing your make-up properly, which is why my first investment was the Eye Make-up Remover Gel. Holding this over your eye with a cotton pad gently dissolves any make-up, even my waterproof liner. The gel is quite cold to the touch which is especially soothing after a long day of wearing contact lenses.

Essential Water

I usually cleanse with hot water and a muslin cloth so my face is always quite pink afterwards. Since I’ve introduced this step to my routine I’ve felt so refreshed. Depending on what kind of impact I want I alternate how I use the essential water. For a quick cool-down and instant calming I’ll spray it straight from the bottle onto my face, or for a more gentle impact I will spray it onto a cotton pad and wipe it over my face.

Brightening Essence

This is one of the nicest serums I’ve used. It is light and wet in texture, absorbs really quickly and calms the skin on application. In the morning, the main thing I notice about my skin is that is very soft and there is no redness. For an extra boost I will sometimes apply a layer of Precious Cream over this although most of the time I don’t feel as though I┬áneed it.

If you’re looking for a simple, effective (but nonetheless indulgent) skincare regime, the Immortelle range is for you.
