Their fourth fresh fragrance

"Mathilde Thomas spent entire afternoons on the island of La Lande. She had the deep desire to one day capture in a fragrance all the feelings generated at this miraculously protected place."

For Mathilde Thomas, one of Caudalie’s founders, a scent can be intrinsically linked to a memory. In the fourth fresh fragrance from the brand, Mathilde is channelling the scent of La Lande, an island on the Gardonne River where she spent lots of time in the summer. (Here are the other three just in case you are struggling to remember…)

3 Caudalie Fragrances

A citrus scent with a woody undertone, Figue de Vigne makes it’s debut at the perfect time of year. Whether you’re starting the day or freshening up in the hot weather, this is just the thing to revitalise tired, hot skin. What’s more is that this is an Eau Fraiche, the most diluted form of fragrance on the wheel, and therefore a sporadic spritz will perk you up without being too overpowering.

And now for the notes…

  • Base notes of white¬†cedar, vetiver and cardamom
  • Heart notes of fig, Bulgarian rose and peach skin
  • Top notes of orange, mandarin and bergamot, infused with coriander

As always, this new release from Caudalie is classic. When it comes to Caudalie I always feel like there are no frills; they design products out of genuine necessity over gimmick, and happen to make each new release feel indulgent enough to be both a treat and an essential.

Figue de Vigne from Caudalie is available now for just £26.00 at uk.caudalie.com.
