Donate as you treat yourself

Every October, beauty brands come out in force to contribute to Breast Cancer Awareness month. Here's a round up of some of the beauty products on offer this autumn that will donate to the cause whenever you treat yourself. Now there's no reason to feel guilty about that new addition to your dresser...

Pink GuavaOrigins Limited Edition Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Pink Guava
Price: £16.00 with £3.00 donation

The Origins Drink Up products are, in my experience, always effective. Giving your skin a lasting boost of hydration, they are a great remedy to dry skin or even a wonderful way to maintain your skin during the changes of the elements. This lovely lip balm will hydrate the lips and add a very sheer hint of pink, meaning that make-up and skincare are combined.

La MerCreme de la Mer Limited Edition Hand Treatment
Price: £35.00 with £7.00 donation

Creme de la Mer’s hand treatment is a rich, smooth formula that can make the driest of hands soft and plumped from first application. The smallest amount goes a long way so don’t let the price put you off, and continual use will help to diminish the appearance of age spots. I’ve been using a sample sized cream for around 2 months and there’s still no sign of me being anywhere near the bottom of the tub! Compared to other hand creams, this absorbs more quickly and leaves lasting moisture on my hands and nails.

Price: £35.00 with £5.00 donation

You can always rely on Bobbi Brown to come up with make-up ideas that focus on simple and pretty beauty. Their contribution this year is elegant and classic; a fresh pink blusher, embossed with the breast cancer ribbon, and a pink applicator brush to go with it.

This list will be updated as and when I spot new releases. Have something you want me to add? E-mail me, I’d love to hear from you: [email protected]
