For Dry Skin and Eye Area

A little while ago, I tried my first Neo-Stem serum and found it to be lovely.

A French brand, this was their first release and is a bi-product of research that was being conducted into an accelerated ageing condition called Progeria. Neo-Stem, a serum that uses stem-cell technology, launched in the M&S Beauty Hall earlier this year and is currently the #1 selling serum sold in French pharmacies.

Now, the team are back with two new releases for September, and I’ve got the low-down on both ahead of the launch…

Serum for Dry Skin
A variation on the original formula, this does what it says on the tin Рhelps to hydrate dry skin. The original Neo-Stem serum was, for me, a standout in making the skin feel soft. Back with a new formula, the Dry Skin serum will leave skin feeling quenched well into a the day after application. Used once daily (before bed for me), it will provide 24 hour hydration.

What really stood out to me about this serum is that the results were instant. Normally with products of this nature, it will take around 2-3 weeks for me to see a difference. The morning after my first application, my skin already felt much more hydrated, as though I had used a mask. 2 weeks in, I noticed a change in the plumpness of my skin, and also a change in how well my make-up was sitting as a result.

Anti-Wrinkle Eye Contour Care
For me, a hydrating eye cream is a necessity. I’m prone to dryness underneath the eyes and in and around the tear duct, so hydrating these areas is key. The Eye Contour care is a lovely, soft product which feels rich enough to make a difference but light enough to use day or night.

A little goes a very long way with this product; half of a pea-sized amount is more than enough to cover both eyes. There is a cooling quality upon application which is useful – it will help to de-puff in the mornings and soothe after a long day if used at night. I also double checked that it’s safe to store in the fridge, so I’ve been keeping mine cool and using it first thing to brighten and boost the skin around my eyes.

If French pharmacy brands are your ticket, these will go down a storm. If dryness isn’t really a concern of yours, it’s well worth checking out the original Neo-Stem serum for all round radiance and unbeatable softness.

Neo-Stem is available exclusively at the M&S Beauty Hall in the UK.
