A lavish green quad

Unless you've been living under a rock this past fortnight, you'll know that make-up artist extraordinaire Charlotte Tilbury launched her new make-up range last Monday.

Swarms of her fans flocked to Selfridges on Oxford Street to meet and greet the lady of the moment – and I was one of them! I was delighted to meet Charlotte this Tuesday and some of Team Tilbury, too. While I was there I picked up one of her Luxury Palettes; the quad I chose was ‘The Rebel’. What is brilliant about the Luxury Palettes is that Charlotte has packed them all in the same format, numbered 1-4 to show us where and how to use them. She’s taken the guess work out of perfecting make-up with the regime, ‘prime – enhance – smoke – pop’.

Here’s a look that I created using The Rebel Palette. And FYI, the 1st shade doubles up as the most luxurious highlighter…

Charlotte Tilbury The Rebel Palette

With super strong pigments, a velvet texture and lasting power like I don’t know what, I can tell you for definite that this is just the first of many pieces that I’m going to be buying from her collection. I tried bits and pieces of everything on the back of my hand; the Colour Chameleon eye pencils will be next on my pay day hit list. Coded to match each individual eye colour, these are creamy, easy to blend and again tailored perfectly to suit you.

By visiting the counter one thing is clear – Charlotte’s main aim is to make women feel and look beautiful. Although all of the products feel luxurious, there’s also something very universal about them, as though anyone will be able to create something beautiful with them regardless of age, skin tone, you name it. She’s also created bespoke tutorials on her YouTube channel for the products – check out her tutorial for The Rebel here.

Find The Rebel palette and be sure to explore all of the range by visiting her website, www.charlottetilbury.com, or visiting the Selfridges Oxford Street counter.
