Three little gems from Aerin

Beauty and balms

If you're a regular reader, you'll know by now that I am utterly enamoured by all things Aerin.

One of the things that I love about Aerin is that she seems to give a lot of thought to the lifestyle of her customer. Everything is very practical and she often releases multi-use products, but at the same time they’re packaged beautifully. She seems to really capture a woman’s need for hard working reliable products and her desire for something that feels fancy in her handbag.

Here are three pieces that I simply can’t get enough of at the moment:

Rose Lip Conditioner in Nude, £20
The perfect mix of a high performer, an elegant package and a soft scent, this is everything you’d expect from Aerin. An oily balm, this rose tinted formula gives a rich hit of moisture and is thick enough to wear as a gloss without any spills. Whether it’s by my bed or in my handbag I’m using this like it’s going out of fashion. It just seems infinitely more glamorous than any other lip balm I own.

Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner

Kaleidolight Palette, £40
Aerin’s palettes are always designed for an effective multi-task, and this one is no different. For me the most beautiful of her palettes to date, this one contains six illuminating shades which can be used to colour correct a perfect base or add some depth to eyes. Used alone the colours suit every base need – blush, highlighter, bronzer and a simple powder – or swipe a large brush across the pan for a glowing, slightly pink finish. As with all Aerin palettes, this one contains a generously sized mirror in the lid. It’s a handy palette to have because it’s perfect for your clutch on a night out instead of having to carry your blush, powder and bronzer separately.
TOP TIP! Do you like to fake tan? Sweep a wash of the warmer shades all over the face to eradicate any orange tones and give more of a pink, naturally sun-kissed colour to your tan.

Kaleidolight Palette

Rose Balm, £40
An all purpose remedy, this is just the thing to have by your bed. From dry patches to elbows, knees, cuticles and of course lips, it helps to soothe a multitude of sins. One thing I’ll note is that despite being formulated with the extract of over 350 rose petals, there is no rose scent. Rose, however, is a brilliant remedy for calming the skin and helping to alleviate redness, so this is working a dream on my easily irritated skin.

Aerin Rose Balm

For me, timeless, versatile and impossibly glamorous beauty is all about Aerin Lauder.
