Jo’s heady citrus scent is unlike anything else I’ve tried and totally invigorating. The scent lasts days into your blow dry and is lovely first thing in the morning to revive and awaken the senses.
So how does the formula work? I’ve been using the Everyday Shampoo & Conditioner, designed for all round colour protection.
Expert Colour Care Everyday Shampoo, £16 for 250ml
Around 4 weeks ago I had my highlights touched up, and find that I normally have to keep strictly to my silver shampoo in order to keep brassiness at bay. This, however, has kept my colour creamy and fresh without any other treatments. A light, refreshing formula, it is especially great the morning after a big night out when you’ve woken up with half of the nightclub still in your hair…
Expert Colour Care Everyday Conditioner, £18 for 250ml
The conditioner is quite unusual in texture, not unlike custard with a jiggly, clumpy form. Work it into the ends of hair, working lightly around the scalp, and hair will be smooth and hydrated. The formula is infused with keratin amino acids, just the thing to smooth out any frizz or puffiness in the hair. My hair is naturally dry and I normally need to use a mask, so I finish this with a hearty dose of oil pre-blowdry to ensure that all of the moisture is locked in.
Compared to other shampoos I’ve used? It strikes a blend of a light, zesty formula that leaves my hair looking and feeling nourished. I love it.
