Recently I've been following lots of make-up artists from around the world.

At the moment, I am noticing that everyone is favouring a ‘blown out’ smoky eye, where blending is so flawless there isn’t really a start or a finish.

In addition, all of the upcoming autumn trends feature a really burnt smoky eye. So I decided to merge the two to create a blown out burnt smoky look.

To achieve this I first took the Warm Spectrum Zoeva palette. I took a soft brown through the socket, and then retraced it with a bright orange. Then, I buffed MAC Cosmetics eyeshadow in Coppering across the entire lid and buffed it out into the orange.

The result looked as though I had simply softened the Coppering the further I got up the brow bone, but actually it took me using three shades to achieve this look.

Because the colour was so strong on the eyes, I kept my base simple. I used Double Wear foundation, bronzer, lots of Becca Champagne Pop and Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect Lipstick.

Orange and blue are complimentary colours so this look really makes blue eyes look piercing.

I love this look but I definitely got mixed reviews from my friends at work, ha ha! What do you think?
