A good scrub with Nuxe

Your summer shower essential

Let's be honest. We all crave the hot weather here in England and feel so excited when it arrives, but there is no denying that once the sun comes out, your beauty regime doubles.

Gone are the quick mornings of throwing on a bit of BB Cream and running out of the house. Now, our mornings consist of layering on the SPF, topping up on tan and adding a touch of make-up to boot. By the end of the day, there is so much to wash away that sometimes your usual potions just won’t cut it.

When the weather gets warmer, I like to use scrubs every so often to ensure that all of the extras I’m putting onto my skin are adequately washed away. I’ve just found two for face and body from my trusty Nuxe that I am absolutely loving.

Gentle Exfoliating Gel for Face with Rose Petals
A soft, fragrant gel texture infused with beads, this is the perfect addition to your cleansing regime twice per week. I like to use this in the shower. Before you get in, take the Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Petals and use on a cotton pad to remove all make-up. (Believe me when I say that I have tried lots of micellar waters and this one is my favourite.) Once your face is mostly clean, take this gel all over the face and neck, careful to avoid the eyes. The next day be sure to up your SPF as your skin will be slightly more sensitive to the sun after exfoliating. What I love about this is the calming property that comes with the rose ingredients. For me, the redness that I suffer from is particularly eased when I use anything with rose.

Nuxe Gel

Fondant Body Scrub
This is the first piece I’ve tried from the Nuxe Body range and it is just as creamy and lavish as their skincare. Use on damp skin for a general scrub, or for a more intense cleanse (perhaps you need to rub away the patches from a fading spray tan?) apply to dry skin and then rinse away in a hot shower. When you’re finished, apply some Dry Oil to damp skin to provide hydration that lasts for days.

Did you know that you get a huge 30% your FIRST order on uk.nuxe.com? If you’ve already ordered, you can still get 20% off with the code ‘VIPNUXE’ at the moment. If you do stock up, make the Dry Oil, Reve de Miel Lip Balm and Creme Fraiche high on your list of priorities.
