But Tigi’s Bed Head blew my mind last week when I tried it out for the first time. I don’t know whether to be embarrassed or proud of the fact that with minimal daily use, I managed to get one full week out of my blow dry without washing. What’s more is that I usually have to wash every other day or every 3 days when using other dry shampoos, so this was a huge accomplishment.
So what on earth is so different about it?! Well for starters it’s near invisible. No white, chalky residue, no powder to the touch; once this is in, it’s gone. The scent is potent and fresh, and lasts long into the day. But number one for me was that it didn’t give my ends that dull, dry look that dry shampoos can do. And as for the bee hive reference? It’s true – this seems to add volume as well as keeping you fresh between washes.
The price point is undoubtedly steeper than your average dry shampoo, but for the extra pennies you need less product and with bigger results; all in all, it’s a very wise investment. Will I be going back to any other dry shampoos? Oh Bee Hive – of course I won’t.
Tigi Bed Head Oh Bee Hive Matte Dry Shampoo is available from feelunique.com for £11.55.
