A Selfridges Exclusive

While the make-up world has been waiting for the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette, something else has landed and seems to have stolen it's crown... the Urban Decay Vice Limited Palette.

Vice Limited is a palette that is exclusive to Selfridges Birmingham and selfridges.com, boasting 20 eyeshadow shades (18 exclusive, 5 new) and housed in a lime green case. Everything about it is just so much fun. The case itself is bejewelled with a green UD, an exclusive double-ended brush is also housed in lime, and the shade line up is brilliant. You’ve got classics like Perversion, the blackest black, and Laced, a lovely nude matte. Then there’s accents  like Junkshow, a hot pink that will add a pop to your blusher, and Last Sin, a champagne which works well as an illuminator.

At £42 for 20 shades, the value is amazing on this one. You may know that I’m the Personal Beauty Shopper at Selfridges in Birmingham, and I can tell you that my phone simply rang off the hook for this last week. I mailed one of these to just about everywhere!

So how does it compare to the Vice 3, and which one should you choose? From what I can see from Vice 3 online, it looks to be a much warmer palette. There’s some gorgeous plums and dark golden shades that will be gorgeous for autumn and winter. Vice Limited, by comparison, is a bit more colourful and will be your go-to for any brighter make-up looks.

Either way, you simply can’t go wrong with an Urban Decay palette. If you’re more of a neutral girl head for the Naked 2 palette or the new Pulp Fiction palette which at £18 is a total steal and one of their best to date!
