2 new styles for spring

Eylure have always been one of my favourite eyelash brands. While lots of luxury brands charge anything around the £20 mark for their lashes, I've always found Eylure to be just as good for a total fraction of the price.

What I like about them is that the band is very pre-curved, meaning that they tend not to lift at the edges because they cling to the shape of your eye lid.

Here’s the low down on two of their new ‘Definition’ styles, great for adding shape to your eyes and make-up.

No.123’s – £5.25

These are great for adding fullness and blackness to the lashes. They’re not terribly long so they’ll work well for anyone with a slightly smaller eye shape or those who wear glasses. The graduated style means that these elongate the eyes and don’t rub or irritate the inner corners. Note that the band on these is very thin and flimsy, perfect for a barely there wearing feel.

I teamed these with quite a bold eyeshadow look. These are ideal for when you’re really proud of your eyeshadow and you want some extra shape but don’t want the lashes to completely hide the blending you’ve spent all morning on! Ha ha…

Eylure Spring 15

No.126’s – £7.25

These are one of the loveliest lashes I’ve tried in some time! A bit like two sets of lashes, these are really thick but they still look very fluttery. These consist of a fluffy lash line to add fullness, then punctuated with longer flicks, giving a choppy 60’s finish. The band on these is very thick so you’ll be best to wear a thick liner to pull them off.

I’d recommend trimming the strip length a tiny bit so that they don’t irritate the inner corners of the eyes because they’re quite heavy. These are so pretty on and they make you look like you have really done your eyes. I wore these with a simple wash of shimmer and a flick liner, taking all of 5 minutes, and my make-up looked like I had spent all morning on it.
