Favourites for her

Here are 10 of my favourite gift ideas for her this Christmas...

Astrological Bag, £15 from Selfridges
One of the simplest and most beautiful gifts this year, these star sign make-up bags are perfect for anyone. They’re small enough to fit in your handbag but large enough to fit lots of make-up and brushes comfortably. I love them! When you purchase from online this also includes a selection of fragrance samples tailored to suit each star sign.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit, £65 from Space NK
I absolutely love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder and Blusher. You know how much I love glowing skin; these give a beautiful luminosity to the skin without any shimmer or glitter. This palette combines six of the most popular Ambient Lighting shades and is great value for money compared to buying each shade individually. The soft consistency of these powders will be flattering on women of all ages.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Set, £52 from Estee Lauder
For the first time ever, Estee Lauder have created a gift set around their iconic summer perfume. Bronze Goddess is one of the most stunning summer perfumes, always a limited edition and always a sell out. I know it’s a slightly unconventional choice for Christmas but the value on this is brilliant.

Laura Mercier Brush Set, £65 from Space NK
I mentioned this brush set in my post on the Laura Mercier Christmas collection, and this really is one of the loveliest gifts this year. I speak to women all the time who have mounds of make-up and nothing to apply it with. Getting this as a gift will help any woman to make the most of everything that she already loves and uses.

Azzi Glasser The Perfumer’s Story fragrances, from £95 at Harvey Nichols
This year, Azzi has finally unveiled a collection of her own bespoke fragrances. Have one of her fragrance experts choose the perfect scent for your loved one by comparing their personality with that of each fragrance.

Jo Malone Roasted Chestnut Candle, £120 from Selfridges
Although the Pine and Eucalyptus scent from Jo Malone is one of their classic Christmas scents, for me it’s all about the Roasted Chestnut candle. Give this to someone who loves cosy nights in and the heady, rich scent will fill their entire home. A limited scent, this is a lovely one for any Jo Malone lover.

Bobbi Brown Art Stick Trio, £42 from Selfridges
A really lovely stocking filler, this Art Stick Trio is one of my most used sets this autumn. The Bobbi Art Sticks are like lipstick in a thick, pencil form. This set contains three shades: a classic red, a hot pink (deep enough to wear for everyday) and a court nude.

Peaches and Cream Essential 12 Pink Box Set, £125 from fabulousmakeup.co.uk
Any Peaches lover is going to absolutely LOVE this kit! It contains the essential 12 pigments (a mixture of old and brand new shades), 10 assorted eyelashes, the new Peaches Primer, the essential brush kit in pink and a quilted make-up case. The case is brilliant, it’s light enough to carry around easily but with enough compartments to comfortably store and fit all of your make-up.

Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold, £30 from Selfridges
This Christmas only, Charlotte is bringing back the highlighter that she launched her brand with, a high shimmer golden block. Here’s how it looks on the skin – I used it on Jane this week.

Clarisonic and Keith Haring Aria Sonic Cleanser, £155 from Selfridges
A Clarisonic is always one of the things I recommend as a Christmas gift. I love mine and I think that, a bit like the Laura Mercier brushes, when you give this as a gift you are enabling the recipient to see even better results from all of their existing skincare. This Christmas there are some limited colours in the collaboration that they’ve done with Keith Haring and each Clarisonic comes with a lovely make-up bag. My favourite is the bright red and there’s a lovely silver too.
