Including new and limited brushes

Last week, I caught up with Sam and Nic Chapman to see their Christmas collection with Real Techniques and have a sneak peek of everything coming next season.

Me Sam and Nic

It’s at least every day that I tell people about Real Techniques brushes. I use them every single day and most of my friends do too.

Here are two of the brush sets coming this Christmas that have worked their way into my every day make-up routine…

Deluxe Gift Set, £19.86

Real Techniques Christmas 2015

This would be great for someone new to the brand as there’s something for the whole face here. There are two exclusive brushes and it comes with a white clutch bag.

– Multi Task Brush: perfect for application of blush, bronzer or powder, slightly smaller than the Blush Brush

– Base Shadow Brush: Sam’s favourite, she says she has lots of these in her kit. This is just a general life saver when it comes to eyes, soft enough to buff out and blend with but firm enough to apply shadow all over the lid too

– Fine Liner Brush: the perfect size for a crisp liner, small enough to achieve a really thin line if necessary

– Exclusive! Tapered Foundation Brush: Nic told me that this one is brilliant for achieving a fuller coverage foundation finish

– Exclusive! Angled Highlighter Brush: the best highlighter brush I’ve used! Fluffy and soft, this is about 3/4 inch thick, the perfect thickness for a luminous cheekbone glow

Collector’s Edition Eyeliner Set, £13.24

All about precision tools, this would be brilliant for anyone who already has the core collection brushes or loves to focus on their eye make-up. It comes with a small pouch which is really handy for packing a couple of key brushes in your make-up bag without making a mess.

– Pointed Liner Brush: great for a thin line (on it’s side), a thicker line (laid flat) or alternatively the best lip brush

– Smudge Brush: brilliant for packing on eyeshadow or smudging it out and creating a liner look with shadows

– Eyeliner Brush: an angled brush that I love for brows

– Precision Liner Brush: great for a classic, crisp line and small enough to get into inner corners of eyes with ease

And for the ultimate Real Techniques fan? Give them the new Deep Cleansing Gel to keep their brushes in check. I used it last night for the first time and my brushes were like new. It even managed to melt away foundation from old brushes and worked just as well on my synthetic and real hair brushes.
