Body, hair and skincare

As much as I love putting my make-up on every day, I also look forward to getting home and taking it all off.

Here are the things that I’ve been using to take the day away recently.

Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover, £20
Earlier this year I went to Anna and Lily’s Beauty Talk Live with Clarins in Birmingham. It was such a great night where the girls shared their tips on beauty favourites from Clarins and everywhere, and one of their top picks was the eye and lip make-up remover. I usually use a cleanser to take all of my make-up off, but I love this because it’s much gentler. Applied to a cotton pad, I simply hold this over each eye and all of my make-up melts away.

Erborian Solid Cleansing Oil, £29
I love a cleansing balm and have tried many, but this from Erborian is my current favourite. Much greener than other balms I’ve tried, I love the smell. Like a classic cleansing balm, this is a solid oil that melts to a softer consistency when warmed. But unlike other balms, this still keeps quite a firm consistency, making it perfect for a facial massage. Avoid the eye area; just use this to remove your face make-up.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Exfoliating Body Cleanser, £30
The smell of the summer is now available in an exfoliating body wash. I love using this for pre-tan prep or just as an everyday scrub. Despite the exfoliating grains, this is a very rich, nourishing wash. Use it daily and the lasting scent will add a tropical kick to your favourite perfume.

Origins Warm Down Warming Lava Scrub to Detox and Smooth, £29
If you work out you’ll love this scrub from Origins. The minty formula heats when applied to the skin, perfect for massaging aching muscles. I keep this for after the gym, leaving it to work for a few minutes in a hot bath.

Jo Malone Body and Hand Wash, £28
My favourite shower gel is the Body and Hand Wash from Jo Malone. Available in lots of their best selling scents, this wash lasts forever because the smallest pump froths into a rich, creamy lather. Try the English Pear & Freesia, it’s my favourite.

Redken Beach Envy range, from £14 (AND 20% off on at the time of writing this!)
Recently I’ve been letting my hair dry naturally (which leaves big, bouncy curls) and tweaking the odd curl with my GHD Wand. T0 get a texturised, beachy finish, I’ve been using the new Beach Envy range from Redken to wash my hair. Even without heat styling, it helps to tame frizz, sharpen my curls and leave a shaggy, carefree finish.
