Launching February 17th 2017

This morning, Victoria Beckham announced that she will be back with her #VBxEsteeLauder collection on Friday 17th February.

Her February collection will be slightly different to the original. As well as returning with the hero pieces from her first foray into beauty, she has listened to feedback from the women who wore and loved it and introduced two more highly requested pieces.

Here’s a full run through of what she has to offer…

NEW Lipstick in Nude Spice, £36

If you had Victoria’s Brazilian Nude lipstick last season, you’ll know that it was a very creamy, brown based nude. Nude Spice lipstick, her latest shade, is a slightly pinker nude with a grey undertone, meaning that it will suit most skin tones, and the finish is matte.

NEW Bronzer in Saffron Sun (for light to medium skin tones), £48

One of the hero products from Victoria’s first collection was her Bronzer in Java Sun, a warm, cinnamon matte to add a healthy flush to the skin. Lots of people told her that although they loved it it was slightly too dark for them, so she’s created this additional shade which is more suitable for fairer skins.

No photos of these just yet – I’ll share them as soon as I have them. Until then, let’s go back through the archive of the last collection to see which pieces are coming back…

Morning Aura Illuminating Creme, £68

My favourite product from the last collection, I am so pleased to see that the ‘part illuminating primer, part moisturiser’ is back. I know that this is also Victoria’s favourite piece from the entire collection.

Modern Mercury, £48

Do you remember the story behind Modern Mercury? It was a limited edition Lauder product from years ago that Victoria used to buy on eBay because she loved it so much. This rose-gold highlighter is suitable for all skin tones.

Bronzer in Java Sun (for medium to dark skin), £48

A warm, matte bronze that adds natural looking depth to the skin.

Eye Kajal in Black Saffron/Vanille, £22

A really unique formula, this liner is peachy on one end (to illuminate the waterline and counteract redness) and jet black at the other end. What sets this apart from other liners is that it is almost like a liquid when applied, very wet and easy to smudge to create a smoky finish.

Eye Foil in Blonde Gold, £28

This turned out to be the product I stockpiled because I just think it is so unique to anything else you can find in the beauty hall. Add a touch of this to inner corners of eyes to make them sparkle, or alternatively layer all over the lids for a complete glitter finish.

Eye Ink in Black Myrrh, £36

A little pot of black magic, this can be used all over as a shadow or applied more firmly to create a smudgy liner finish. The fine glitter piped throughout takes the edge off the darkness, creating a textured smoky eye finish.

Eye Metals Eyeshadow in Bitter Clove, £36

This dusky bronze shadow is so easy to blend that you can just smudge it on using fingertips. Despite being set like a powder, this is very creamy and soft in texture.

Lip Gloss in Moroccan Heat, £28

Classic and simple, the Moroccan Heat nude gloss simply had to make a comeback. I love that the wand is activated by clicking the end, like a Touche Eclat from YSL.

Good news and bad news…

The bad news is that not everything will be coming back in this collection. The good news, however, is that anything else that you loved will still be available if you buy the Light Box. I’ve put an asterix next to the items in the box that aren’t sold individually within the new collection.

Daylight Edition Light Box, £850

A limited, luxury trousseau housing all of the key colour pieces from Victoria’s collection, this is a real one-of-a-kind. It houses the following products: Eye Foil in Blonde Gold, Eye Metals Eyeshadow in Charred Emerald*, Eye Foil in Burnt Anise*, Lipstick in Brazilian Nude, Lipstick in Chilean Sunset*, Eye Shadow Palette*, Highlighter in Modern Mercury, Eye Kajal, Lip Pencil in Victoria*.

I’m counting down until February 17th, Victoria!

P.S a little update. It’s now February 12th and I’ve just spotted a sneak peek at a new AW17 VB x EL palette coming this September. Looks divine. Here’s the shot from the @EsteeLauder Instagram story, straight from backstage at her latest fashion show.
