The room was filled with flowers, candles and personal touches imagined by Kendra from the Brides event team and Moriarty Events. It looked like a total fairytale.
Our agenda for the day was to sample the delicious bridal menu at Claridges and a selection of specially paired Moet & Chandon champagnes to accompany each course.
Here’s a look at what we enjoyed…

Tuna Tartare, Parmesan Crisp Duck Egg, Ponzu Mayonnaise, Buckler Sorrel
Paired with Grand Vintage Rose 2009
Main CourseĀ
Roast Scottish Halibut, Langoustines, Jersey Royal Potatoes, Baby Heritage Carrots, Yellow Beetroot and Celeraic
Paired with Grand Vintage Blanc 2009
Dessert
Poached Pear, Marscarpone Cremeux, Pear Sorbet, Brown Butter Brioche Crumb
Paired with Magnums of Moet Brut Imperial
I was sat next to Jade for our festivities which I was delighted about because she’s launching her first book in June (a novel about three brides) and I wanted to hear all about it. When finding my place at the table, I had two beautiful touches awaiting.
One was a personalised bottle of Moet & Chandon that had been imprinted with a photograph of me.
And the next was a beautiful caricature created by Victoria Fitzroy.
So much bridal inspiration and at Claridges of all places – the dream venue! I love visiting Claridges because I think that in addition to the most ornate and elegant surroundings they offer some of the warmest service in all of London.
Thank you so much Brides and Moet & Chandon for a wonderful afternoon!
