Chloe Morello, Dulce Candy and Weylie

This spring, Pixi Beauty have unveiled their latest collaboration with three of their favourite influencers.

I really admire the way Pixi give a voice to some of their biggest fans – I can’t imagine how exciting it would be to get the call that you were able to make your own product! Lots of us will have tried Caroline’s Double Cleanse among their other influencer collaborations, so I was really excited to see this one.

As always, the result is a series of well thought-out, easy to use and utterly Instagrammable pieces. Here’s a look at it all…

Chloe Morello

Lip Icing in Cake, £16

This sparkling golden glitter gloss is so beautiful used alone or on top of your favourite lipstick. Despite looking golden in the wand, this imparts a shimmering gloss that adapts to sit well on top of any colour. The iridescence in the formula is stunning and photographs to make your lips look fuller and more hydrated. Rose hip and marula oils infuse the formula to add instant moisture and comfort to the lips.

Palette Chloette, £28

Chloe has done what I think I would do in this situation and used the collaboration to make one palette that contains everything you need for the perfect face. If, like me, you don’t have a lot of time to get ready or you like to get stuck in on the train, this palette is ideal. With highlighter, blush, soft to smoky eyeshadows and a selection of denser powders to be used as liners or through the brows, you have your whole face in one here. She has really considered all eventualities and covered them, even adding a slight mirror to the trim of the palette. Genius.

Dulce Candy

Cafe Con Dulce, £28

I’ve noticed that Pixi have created quite a unique texture in some of their newer palettes, allowing a cream to powder finish on highlighters and blushes. It’s a win win because the creamy consistency is rich in pigment and easy to apply and blend, but then it sets to a lasting powder finish. This Cafe Con Dulce palette is a must for anyone who loves a highlighted finish, offering neutral highlighter shades and also some rosier tones for those who like a really shimmering blush. I love that she’s considered a complete range of skin tones in her colour spectrum for these shades, and if you were to use this on yourself any shades that don’t work on your complexion will easily double up as eyeshadows.

Dulce’s Lip Candy, £28

Make-up artists take note: this kind of palette is rare to find, an array of pigmented creams that can be used across cheeks and lips, it is a complete kit essential. Again, Dulce has created a spectrum of rosy shades to find the perfect pink for each skin tone. These add luminosity but ultimately dry to quite a velvety finish, meaning that they have lasting power. Each shade is super pigmented, so if you prefer a softer finish on cheeks you might like to mix a little moisturiser or oil with these to create more of a stain.

Weylie Hoang

Dimensional Eye Creator, £22

Weylie has curated the ultimate smoky eye in her make-up duo. First up, this warm palette will make every eye colour pop with the rustic tones. She’s masterminded an ideal blend of light to dark and shimmer to matte shades, giving you lots of flexibility in the looks you can create. Equally, she’s ensured that each shade marries well into the other, so you won’t team anything with a clashing shade or create an unflattering mix.

It sounds like the simplest thing, but I can’t recall ever seeing a double ended eyeliner that has both kohl and liquid in the pen. Of all of the pieces from this collection, this is the one that has impressed me the most. It’s exactly what you need in your make-up bag for quick and easy liner however you like to wear it.

Pixi holds a really special place in my heart. I remember first walking past their shop when I was an intern in London, and I’d never heard of them before. There was mint green packaging as far as the eye could see and everything about the shop – the girls, the lights, the layout – was so inviting. I vividly remember telling myself that when I got a job and had some money, I would buy my make-up from there. So to now be part of the magic and have a big box of their blogger collaborations arrive at home for me is truly extra special.

The Pixi Pretties collection is available now online and from the Pixi Boutique just off Carnaby Street. I can not tell you how much I love that shop. The girls are so welcoming, I will not pass them without going in to say hello. If you’re ever in London do call into them, they give some of the loveliest and most expert advice in the city.
