An edit of the best new beauty

Jake Jamie, aka The Beauty Boy, is a lovely friend of mine who I have made through blogging.

What I love about Jake is that he is really consistent in his reviews, and when I watch him I can clearly see the brands he is passionate about.

This in mind, it makes perfect sense that he has created his own beauty box with Cosmetips! The premise behind Cosmetips is that they create beauty boxes each month to resemble the amazing gifts that press and influencers receive, and so Jake Jamie has worked to create an edit of his favourite brands with them.

What really stood out to me is that this selection really mirrors brands I see him frequently using and sharing the love for. His personality is all over this.

Here’s a look at some of my favourite picks of what is inside…

Huda Beauty Gemstone Obsessions Palette

How gorgeous is this? A palette of rich, jewel toned colours from Huda Beauty. What I love about this palette is that it is full of pops of colour for really having fun with your make-up, which is exactly what Jake is all about.

Walford Richard Designs The Best Makeup Brush Cleanser

A really clever inclusion, great make-up starts with great brushes and I love that Jake has included this essential tool for brush maintenance. This thick balm will help to dissolve even the toughest foundation from a dense make-up brush, making it a total kit essential.

Glamglow Waterburst Hydrated Glow Moisturiser

I’ve been using this moisturiser myself since it launched and I am totally smitten with Waterburst! This gel-like texture instantly quenches dry skin, and make-up sits beautifully over the top of it. If you get ready quickly in the morning like I do and you need to be able to layer your products quickly without feeling like you’re wearing too much, this is for you.

Tatcha The Deep Cleanse

When I saw the Tatcha in this box it was the first thing I opened. I have ALWAYS wanted to try Tatcha! This is the skincare brand that seems to be on every red carpet kit of the make-up artists I follow, and my favourite part of my beauty regime is cleansing. A dream! I’ve just started to use this so I’ll share my thoughts once I’ve given it a full run, but so far I am really liking the rich, balmy texture of it.
